Bese Saka (pronounced Beh-seh Sah-kah) is a Ghanian adinkra symbol translating to “sack of cola nuts'' and is associated with affluence, power, and abundance. The cola nut played an important role in the economic life of Ghana as a widely-used cash crop. The vision of Besa Saka is to continue this tradition of affluence by sharing the richness of African culture through its vibrant woven products.
